SPR Rendering has been rendering Sydney walls for over 15 years. In that time we have worked coastal salt in the east, reactive clay out west, heritage sandstock through the inner suburbs and new panel construction in the growth corridors. Every one of those needs something different.
That is the thing we care most about, and it is the thing most quotes ignore. Brick, block, blueboard, Hebel and hundred year old sandstock all behave differently under a render coat. Using the same mix and the same system on all of them is the single most common reason a wall looks perfect for two years and then starts letting go.
So the first thing we do on any job is work out what is actually there. We sound the wall, we look at the mortar, we check what has been done to it before. Then we quote the system it needs rather than the system that is quickest to apply.
Sometimes that means telling someone their render problem is actually a drainage problem, or a rising damp problem, or a footing problem, and that rendering over it will waste their money. That conversation costs us work occasionally. It is still the right conversation to have.

We tell you what is actually wrong
If your wall has rising damp, or the drainage behind your retaining wall has failed, or sixty percent of your render is drummy, you will hear it from us before you get a price. A cheaper quote that ignores the real problem is not a cheaper job.
The right system for the substrate
Brick, block, blueboard, Hebel and old sandstock all need different products and different mixes. Using one approach on all of them is the most common reason render fails in Sydney.

Preparation and protection
Scaffold where the job needs it, everything masked and sheeted, and the substrate properly prepared. This is the stage that decides whether the render lasts twenty years or two.
Render and cure
Two coats, applied by hand, worked as a continuous wet edge so there are no visible joins. Then we manage the cure rather than letting a summer sun dry it out too fast.
Texture, colour and clean
Your chosen texture grade and colour, applied consistently across every elevation. Then a full clean down and every bit of rubbish off your property.

Traditional sand and cement render over brick, block and concrete. The strongest, longest lasting finish there is.
Acrylic Rendering Sydney
Polymer modified render that flexes instead of cracking. The right call for coastal walls, lightweight panel and anything that moves.
